Event Details
Join us in the school garden for a joyful end‑of‑year harvest celebration where everything feels a little brighter and tastier. We’ll open the morning with a 9:30am musical performance by the wonderful Esther Crow. Her songs will set the perfect summertime mood as we shift to our garden where we can tour our spring plantings with our garden committee volunteers. Students will proudly show off the vibrant veggies and herbs they’ve nurtured all season. Then enjoy refreshing garden‑inspired mocktails and delightful culinary treats. It’s a celebration of community, curiosity, and the delicious magic that happens when we grow together.
In case of rain, the event will be held in the cafeteria.
This is a free PTA event and open to friends and families of the PS199 community. RSVP and drop in anytime. Volunteers welcome. Stay as long as you wish before closing time. Remember to dress accordingly for gardening. Bring garden gloves if you have them. Gardening tools will be provided by the PTA - or bring your own!
This is not a drop-off event. All children must be supervised by an adult. Please review Garden Policies before your visit. Contact Alfred Huang or Matthew Williams via Konstella or email at garden@ps199pta.org for any questions.
