  • is the application process for applying to kindergarten in New York City.
  • Only children who were born in 2014 are eligible to apply for kindergarten 2019-2020.
  • The application period will begin on December 03, 2018 and the deadline to apply is  January 14, 2019.
  • You can also apply over the phone by calling (718) 935-2009 or in person at the Family Welcome Center located at 388 West 125th Street, 7thFloor, Room 713.

  • Offer letters will be sent to families in March 2019. Pre-Registration will be in April 2019.
  • Once you receive the kindergarten placement letter and are accepting the seat, please CLICK HERE to schedule an appointment to register your child.
  • If your child has been waitlisted, we will contact you as soon as we reach your child’s name on our wait list.
  • Please email the Parent Coordinator at Include your contact information, home address, child’s name, date of birth and name of current school.
